What is the location of Alaminos City?

Located in the province of Pangasinan, Alaminos is a fourth-class component city known for its Hundred Islands National Park, the first ever Philippine national park consisting of 124 islands. Originally, Alaminos City was part of Bolinao, before becoming an independent municipality. It became a component city in 2001 after Republic Act 9025, An Act Converting the Municipality of Alaminos, Province of Pangasinan into a Component City to be known as the City of Alaminos, which houses one of the province’s largest centers of commerce, finance, education, industry, and services.

In terms of geography, Alaminos is located in the western part of Pangasinan province, on a flat plain. In the north, the town is surrounded by the famous Hundred Islands, in the west by the town of Bani, in the south by the town of Mabini, and in the east by the town of Sual. The project was originally meant to house a commercial airport, but it has not yet been completed.
